The Master of Family and Systemic Therapy, delivered by WRFTC in partnership with Australian Catholic University, is a specialised, part-time 3 year postgraduate program designed for mid-career professionals seeking to refine the quality and precision of their practice with Families and other complex relational systems.
This intensive program integrates enduring Family Therapy concepts and practices with cutting-edge systemic and psychotherapeutic research. The clinician-teachers facilitate learning experiences tailored to the learning agenda of experienced clinicians - professionals who are working with families and other relational systems and have completed an accredited certificate or diploma in Family Therapy.
Through a unique 3-day-per-month format, totalling 9 days per semester, the Advanced Level Entry program provides an immersive, hands-on learning environment that fosters innovation and confidence in addressing the complexities of relational systems.
Participants will refine their skills to conceptualise, plan and implement tailored interventions, enabling diverse families and relational systems to overcome multi-generational and situational patterns of emotional and social challenges.
Limited places are available for eligible candidates, at WRFTC campuses in Melbourne and Mildura. Graduates will emerge as highly skilled practitioner-researchers, equipped to meet the unique needs and challenges of complex client systems.
